CB2 receptor (CB2R) is one of the canonical cannabinoid receptor belonging to endocannabinoid system (ECS). It was cloned for the first time in 1993 from the human leukemia cell line HL-60, and it is part of the Gprotein coupled receptors family (GPCRs), being coupled to a Gi/o protein.
